First and foremost, I started work at a student residential building near campus as a front desk attendant. It’s a lot of basic Q&A and hand holding, but I can never figure out where my day has gone, given how busy we usually are. It’s certainly a welcome change from twiddling my thumbs and cooking or cleaning house.
All the wedding invitations are in the mail, and we’ve booked our flights and hotel. There’s truly no turning back now. Be sure to send us your RSVP as soon as possible so that we can order the proper amount of food and drink.
Mowgli the Cat is settling in nicely. He spends quite a bit of time hanging out with us when we’re home and he’s picked out his favorite pieces of furniture. He’s not a fan of the vacuum or heat, and both send him into a panting frenzy. At this point, we’re all hanging in there and waiting for the cooler autumn temperatures to arrive. We’ve had about all the summer fun we can handle for one year.
Bring on the snow!
